Margaret Orgovan

Margaret Ann “Annie”Orgovan, age 84, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday November 25, 2018.

She was born on Tuesday October 23, 1934 in Little Brownfield, Pa.  the daughter of Andrew James and Margaret (Roth) Roche.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Charles Orgovan, her son Mark Edward “Toad” Orgovan, her sisters, Ruth Griffith and Francis Roche, brothers; Jim Roche and John Roche.

She was a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson Street, Uniontown, Pa.

Margaret was a graduate of St. John high school and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. Margaret was employed at the Uniontown Hospital in the maternity department for 40 years as a Registered Nurse.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Mary Jul Phillips and her husband Shane; grandchildren, Jonathan Phillips and his wife Hannah, Stephanie Marie Orgovan, Jessica Marie Orgovan; their mother Barbara Orgovan, her sister, Mary Faris, brothers; Tom Roche and his wife Barbara, Robert Roche and his wife Linda, brother in law; Vincent Orgovan and his wife Marge, sister in law Bonnie Orgovan.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Friends will be received in the Baker-Terravecchia Funeral Home, Inc., 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa 15401 on Wednesday November 28, 2018 from 4-8 p.m., and on Thursday November 29, 2018 until 9:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson Street, Uniontown, PA 15401 at 10 a.m.

Interment will be held in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

The family would like to sincerely thank her caregiver Millie and Fayette Home Care and Hospice for the very special care that they gave to Annie.
