Gladys M. Muchisko, 77, of Brownsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 8,1948 in Warren Ohio to the late Olive (Dawson) Groff Arrison.
Gladys graduated from Brownsville Area High School Class of 1966 and West Virginia Career Institute where she studied to become a Medical Office Assistant and was awarded her classes highest award.
After graduation from West Virginia Career Institute, she went on to work for Dr. Richard Pish M.D. for 20+ years. At the age of 64 she was forced to retire from a career that she was truly passionate about due to her personal health.
She will forever be remembered for having the cleanest house (that according to her was filthy.), Maw Maw’s cookie night, her love of Christmas, family traditions, selfless service to others, and unwavering love for her children and grandchildren.
Gladys was preceded by her beautiful mother, Olive Arrison (whom she adored) and stepfather Joel Arrison, and her husband of 49 years David Muchisko.
She is survived by her three children, Richard Walters (Jayme), Michael Walters (Sabina), and Tina Veatch (Terry Lent) Stepdaughter Kelly Griglack (Chip) and Stepson Kirk (Dina). 11 Grandchildren Adam Walters (Amanda), Abigail Walters (Brody), Courtney Yocabet (Edward), Cameron Walters, Brooke Walters, Eddie Veatch(Maddie), Teagan Veatch, Savannah Veatch, Cordessa Cales (Daniel), Mason Griglack, and Elijah Myers. Though she is gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts.
