Freda Mae Hospodavis

Freda M. Hospodavis, age 74, of Masontown, Pa, passed away on Monday December 15, 2025.

She was born on Wednesday, September 5,. 1951 a daughter of Joseph Anthony and Freda Mae (Elnikar) Hospodavis.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Joseph P. Hospodavis and her sister Patricia Hospodavis.

She was a lifelong member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help St Mary Roman Catholic Church Leckrone, currently a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown, PA., where she assisted the parish in various capacities for many years. Freda worked for many years at the local town bank, as a teller and bookkeeper, she was a resourceful bank employee to all of her customers.

Freda was a wonderful cook and an excellent baker, and thoroughly enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens, as well as trips to visit her brother and his family.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Patrick D. Hospodavis and his wife Marie of Hummelstown, PA., nephews; Ryan Hospodavis of Harrisburg, PA., Nicholas Hospodavis of Hummelstown, PA., and she is also survived by her sister-in-law Linda Hospodavis of Michigan and many supportive and caring cousins.

Friends will be received in the Terravecchia Home for Funerals, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Monday December 22, 2025 from 4-6 p.m.; and on Tuesday December 23, 2025 until 9:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown PA.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help St. Mary Cemetery, Leckrone, PA.
