Elizabeth Marie Yasenosky

Elizabeth Marie Yasenosky, 92, of Smithfield, PA, passed away on Saturday June 28, 2025 at The Residence of Hilltop Assisted Living in Monongahela, Pa.

She was born in McClellandtown, on Saturday June 18, 1933, a daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Pearl (Pittner) Saradi.

Elizabeth was married to Joseph Philip Yasenosky for 66 years and was well known for selling her bake goods at the Perryopolis flea market, for many years.

She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Leckrone, now St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph Philip Yasenosky, daughter, Kathleen Yasenosky, grandson, Bryan Yasenosky, sisters: Margaret Kubica, Juliann Sible and 3 infant brothers.

Elizabeth was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Philip (Judy) Yasenosky, Jerome Joseph (Lorraine) Yasenosky; daughter, Diane (Scott) Knowlton, grandchildren: Elizabeth (Chris) Thomas, Philip (Madie) Yasenosky, Adam Knowlton and Matthew Knowlton, she is also survived by 3 great grandchildren: Nathan Thomas, Alyssa Thomas and Savannah Thomas and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received in the Terravecchia-Haky Home for Funerals, Inc., 515 N. Main Street, Masontown, PA, on Monday June 30, 2025 from 2- 8 p.m. and Tuesday July 1, 2025 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 101 S. Washington St., Masontown, Pa.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, PA.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl Memphis, TN 38105-9959 in Elizabeth’s name.
