Elaine T. Rockwell

Elaine Theresa Rockwell, Age 81, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, peacefully in WVU Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born November 17, 1942 in Masontown, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mabel Brown Bartoni.

Elaine was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a long standing Christian Mother of All Saints Church in Masontown.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mabel Bartoni, infant daughter Marie Elaine Buela, brother Samuel Bartoni, and sister Antoinette Smitley.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Edwin, of 47 years of marriage; her children, Angela Haley (William) of Rochester, PA, Andrea Hyde (Howard) of Davenport, Iowa and Thomas Rockwell (Paula) of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandchildren, Crystal Haley of Washington, PA, and Daniel Haley (Elana) of Portsmouth, VA; and her sister-in-law, Judy Bartoni.

She worked for Fayette Resources and Goodwill of Uniontown for many years with handicapped adults. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to historical places and seeing plays at Sight and Sounds in Lancaster Pa. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed watching her daily Soap Operas and Westerns. She will truly be missed by her best friend, Minnie, her cat.

A private viewing will be held at Terravecchia-Haky Home for Funerals, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA,

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday April 12, 2024 at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Masontown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital. 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

Interment will follow in St Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, PA
