Dolores Buchko

Dolores Buchko also known as Aunt Dee of Uniontown, Pa., passed away with her lovely family by her side after battling cancer.

She was born in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of the late Michael Buchko and Agnes (Terescik) Buchko.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her sister Janet Myers and brother Michael Buchko.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.

Dolores lived in Uniontown her entire life and was well known for her likable personality. Dolores was kind and caring with everyone. 

She is survived by her sisters; Barbara Buchko of Uniontown, Pa., Patricia Buchko, Uniontown, Pa., Ida Buchko Morganosky of Uniontown, Pa., and Carol Buchko Hughes and husband Don of Coraopolis, Pa.; and Joan Jansen and her late husband Bill of Baltimore. Also surviving is her long time companion Edward Bilek of Uniontown; and Dolores enjoyed spending time with his family. she is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she cherished. She always looked forward to family get togethers.

We would like to thank Bella Health Care and Amedisys Hospice for the loving care they gave Dolores. We want to thank all those for their many acts of kindness, cards, gifts and numerous calls.

Friends will be received in the Terravecchia-Haky Home for Funerals, Inc., 515 N. Main Street, Masontown, Pa. 15461, on Wednesday June 25, 2025 from 2-8 p.m., Parastas will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m., in the funeral home. Panachida prayers will be said on Thursday at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Church, Uniontown, Pa., with Fr. Kyprian Wojciechowski as celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
