Beatrice Martin, age 97, of Martin, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, July 17, 2026.

She was born in Grays Landing, Pennsylvania, on November 2, 1928, a daughter of the late Harry and Annie Fisher Rankin.

Beatrice was a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary's Church in Leckrone. She also served as a Democratic committee woman for Nicholson Township.


Above all, Beatrice was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, whose greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for the love, care, and strength she gave to those closest to her.In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Michael "Mike" Martin; her daughter, Irene Keener; and her siblings, Wesley Rankin, Alice Conway, and Bernard Rankin.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sue Ann Malinsky (with whom she lived) and Michele Neino (Anthony); her grandchildren, Janet Malinsky, Michael Malinsky (Julie), Dominic, and “always her baby” Cara Neino with whom Beatrice shared a particularly close bond; and her great-grandchildren, Valerie and Sara Malinsky.

Friends will be received on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Terravecchia-Haky Home for Funerals, 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pennsylvania.
