Arthur Edward Smith

Arthur (Smitty) Smith 73 years old of McClellandtown, PA passed away on June 24 , 2024.

Art was born in Bay Shore, Long Island, NY on March 27, 1951, the son of Wesley Mills Smith and Audrey (Brumfield) Smith.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Dorothy Stalnaker, sisters-in-law, Nancy Gorka and Cookie Stalnaker and brothers-in-law Carr Stalnaker, and Sonny Farley.

Art is survived by his wife Dawn (Stalnaker) Smith, their children Arthur (Artie) Smith and wife Traci of Pittsburgh, PA; Heather (Smith) Houck and husband Ray of Youngstown, Ohio; Tricia Smith and her husband David Rubenfeld of Martinsburg, WV, and grandchildren Madison, Brendan, Delaney, Makenzie of Pittsburgh, PA; Seth, Kaylee, Jacob, Graci of Youngstown, Ohio; Scott of Martinsburg, WV. Brother Wes and wife Jody of Lexington, KY; brother Tom and wife Ingrid of Halfmoon, NY; and sister Debbie and husband Jeff Rae of Nolensville, TN. Brother-in-Law Larry Stalnaker of Milton, FL, sister-in-law Carole Farley of Mt Washington, KY, brother-in-law Jim Stalnaker and wife Jessie of Lexington, NC, brother-in-law David Stalnaker and wife Debbie of Masontown, PA and brother-in-law Daniel Stalnaker of Palmer, PA and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 11 a.m., in Triumphant Fellowship Church (871 McClellandtown Road, McClellandtown, PA 15458) with Pastor AJ Byers officiating. Military honors will be accorded by The AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood.
